Our Story
Perth’s Outback Splash, formerly The Maze Sequoia Park, is a privately owned family fun park located near the Swan Valley, just 30 minutes from Perth’s CBD. Open seasonally from September to April, guests can enjoy a variety of waterpark and outdoor attractions.
Officially opened in 1981, the park became a favourite destination for local families who enjoyed picnicking, daily sheep shearing shows, and exploring the park’s main attraction, a 2500m² timber labyrinth, which was the largest maze in the Southern Hemisphere at the time.
In July 2006, local business owners Paul and Nicole Woodcock purchased The Maze with a vision to add new attractions and enhance the existing facilities.
The Splash Island waterslide playground, the park’s first water attraction, opened in December 2013. Octopus Bay Kids Splash Zone followed in December 2016 to cater to the growing market of young families.
In November 2019, the park introduced four new and unique waterslides, some of the best in Australia and among the most thrilling in WA.
The addition of the waterslide tower, followed by the highly anticipated opening of The Lagoon in November 2023, brings Perth’s Outback Splash closer to its long-term vision of being Perth’s favorite water park destination and a must-visit tourist attraction for all ages.
