Perth’s Outback Splash is set to get even more refreshing this Summer, with the opening of a very cool pop-up ‘Summer Bar’, in partnership with Gage Roads.
Opening on Saturday 5th December, the Gage Roads Summer Bar will offer chilled vibes, good beer and great times for the entire Summer season at the popular waterpark located on the doorstep of the Swan Valley.
Situated inside a large timber cabana overlooking the six-storey epic water slide tower, it will be the ultimate location to kick back and relax during a fun-filled day. The bar will feature pallet furniture, bean bags and plenty of umbrellas on the grass.
Perth’s Outback Splash Director, Paul Woodcock said that with the addition of the four new thrill waterslides that opened last Summer, the waterpark has seen a huge increase in young adults.
“We are proud to once again be adding to our attractions this Summer, further enhancing the overall visitor experience. The Gage Roads Summer Bar will offer a place for adults to enjoy refreshing WA made beer, both safely and responsibly.”
Bec Lauchlan from Gage Roads says, “We’re really excited to get down to Perth’s Outback Splash and have some fun in the sun. Being proudly West Australian, we’re all about fun summer vibes and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. This has that in spades.”
The Gage Roads beer range on offer includes; Single Fin, Pipe Dreams, Side Track, Atomic Pale, Atomic XPA, Hello Sunshine Cider and Matsos Ginger Beer. Food is available at The Burger Bar and Snack Shack – serving up fresh meals, snacks, ice creams and locally roasted Yahava coffee.
Safety is the number one priority at Perth’s Outback Splash. The waterpark transitioned to a licensed venue and introduced ‘glass-free’ restrictions in August 2020 in consultation with the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor, the State Health Department, and Royal Life Saving. Introducing the Gage Roads Summer Bar is a way to serve alcohol safely and responsibly.
Perth’s Outback Splash has long been one of WA’s top outdoor entertainment destinations. In addition to the four new waterslides and the park’s other seasonal, water-based attractions (open September to April), it offers year-round family fun including mini golf, mazes, sensory play activities, children’s playgrounds and Australian animal experiences.
With the Tonkin Highway extension now complete, Perth’s Outback Splash (located in Bullsbrook) is only 30 minutes from Perth city and 15 minutes from Joondalup.
